These will need to be included in strategy and aslo understood by those administering systems. We also need to encourage responsible use and alert pupils to safe use of the internet. We will probably have to wait for glow for e-mail and instant messaging as there will be changes occurring then and schools will have good broadband connections but we could do something about blogs before then. Everywhere I look I see digital natives! It really has made me think about how we teach ICT and how we can approach it from the view of confident individuals. p.s. As regards e-mail/forums and instant messaging, an excellent resource for primary children (safe, paid for by LTS and quite addictive) is Superclubsplus.com . There is Goldstarcafe for secondary but I am not sure if this has been funded. Definately worth a look!
